The majority of the new illustrations in this book were taken from cases seen at the institutions where the Editors and Contributors practice. Thousands of adult women as well as many hundreds of men and children afflicted with breast diseases who cannot be recognized individually are acknowledged for their anonymous contributions to this and prior editions of Rosen’s Breast Pathology . The task of turning the manuscript into a finished book has been a cooperative effort. All of the images were digitally enhanced by Ms. Patricia Kuharic in the Medical Art and Photography Department of Weill Cornell Medical College.
