Significant irregular nasal and tempo ral corneal steepening is apparent in the computed corneal topographic analysis of an eye with moderate pellucid marginal degeneration. Classically, the steepening is seen to curve around inferiorly in this condition. As seen on the color scale on the left, the red colors indicate corneal steepening, and blue colors indicate corneal flattening. The figure on the right shows Placido rings; this image is important to verify the quality and centration of the study.
