44. Ferranti S, Migliorini F, Liuni FM, et al: Outcomes of per cutaneous calcaneoplasty for insertional Achilles tendon problems. Foot Ankle Int 2021;42(10):1287-1293. This is a retrospective case series of 27 patients who under went percutaneous calcaneoplasty for insertional Achilles tendinopathy. The authors reported an improvement in visual analog scale and Victorian Institute of Sports Assessment– Achilles scores at an average of 26.5 months follow-up. Twenty-two patients (84.5%) reported complete satisfaction, whereas two patients (7.4%) reported moderate satisfaction and three patients (11.1%) reported being unsatisfied with results.
